Paris-based Singaporean Mashizan Masjum spent two decades in TV journalism, directing and producing award-winning documentaries for National Geographic, History Channel and Discovery. But designing footwear has been his passion since he was a young boy.

Masjum learnt his craft in Florence, Italy from master artisan as well as a veteran designer from the House of Salvatore Ferragamo. Since then, MASHIZAN shoes have been manufactured by hand in Italy.
